The images have the trend of well-exposing
with good color reproduction. Portraits display the red eye effect when using
the flash, but you can remove this in playback. The Digital Microscope takes
very impressive macro shots. If you want the images that have a higher dynamic
range, you are able to select the options to increase the details in the
highlights and shadows.

both ends of the lens, although they are slightly softer around the edges and
corners. Purple fringing is not so much to affect the contrast. The lens has a
minimum focusing distance of only 1 cm, so it is likely to be impressive to
take macro shots.

only slightly higher at ISO 200. The images turn into slightly softer at ISO
400 with the level image detail cut down at ISO 800. Many more details are lost
at ISO 1,600, with a very soft image created. Image quality is slightly worse
at the highest settings of ISO 3,200 and 6,400, with image size restricted to
only 5 megapixels.

Under the incandescent lights, the auto
white balance (AWB) creates the images with the orange colors, with shooting
incandescent preset for much better results. Under the fluorescent lights, the
AWB works well, with color images using the preset fluorescence.
