Samsung Galaxy Camera

Just how many galaxies do we need?

The 21x zoom lens-totting, 16MP sensor-laden, 4.3in screen encrusted Galaxy Camera is here. On the inside, a 1.4GHz quad-core processor keeps things snappy and the Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) OS on the outside keeps things slick app-wise. Go ahead now, download apps from the Google Store and share pictures via Wi-Fi or 3G.

Samsung injects geek back into otherwise boring cams, and just how cool is the Share Shot feature - it lets you fling Pics in real-time to 8 nearby devices

Acer Iconia W700

Tablet transform!

Acer Iconia W700

Acer Iconia W700

The Windows 8, Intel Core i3/i5-based W700 gets us excited yet again. It features the neatest of designs thanks to the dock, which works in both landscape and portrait mode. The dock lets you connect a keyboard or mouse if you get tired of poking at the screen. Storage is taken care of by a 32 or 64GB SSD.

With the brilliant dock in place, this could very well be your desktop replacement. It'll look good even in your living room, taking center stage at your next party

Sony Vaio Tap 20

Beast incoming

Sony Vaio Tap 20

Sony Vaio Tap 20

If you are a sucker for specs, you’ll love this Vaio. The Tap 20 features the Intel Core (i7, i5 or i3) processor along with 8GB internal memory. That should be fantastic for playing games and watching HD videos on the mega 20in (1600x900) 10-point multi-touch screen. And a TB of HDD space at your disposal only means you’ll be busy backing up HD content. From the Blu-ray you purchased, that is.

We like the Tap 20 very much not only because we can use it as a tablet or a desktop replacement, but also we can use all our 10 fingers to poke at the screen

LG ND8520 speaker dock

The musical Rubik’s Cube

LG ND8520 speaker dock

LG ND8520 speaker dock

For starters, we know this dock would look ultra-cool in our living room. To make things convenient, the product supports Airplay, through which you can beam songs wirelessly to this speaker system. It offers 80 watts of sonic presence and features a built-in subwoofer. LG, you need to launch this looker over here mighty quick!

This speaker r dock has all it takes to become your next favorite iDevice dock. But its true success will depend on how good it actually sounds

TDK Wireless Boombox

Mr Boomboxtic

TDK Wireless Boombox

TDK Wireless Boombox

Boomboxes are great. They are easy to carry around, and most of them don’t even look too bad. But the guys at TDK go a step further by making theirs wireless and incorporating two 2in full-range drivers, two 5.25in passive radiators and a 5.25in subwoofer. It looks like the coolest BoomBoxy thing on the planet. We’d buy it.

The TDK Wireless Boombox scores 10 points on looks, and if it can nail the sound bit, it is poised to become our favorite portable audio

Sennheiser Momentum

The Moment has come!

Sennheiser Momentum

Sennheiser Momentum

Remember the feeling you get as you sink into your car’s leather seat covers? Imagine that on your ears. The Momentum set not only looks sinful, it should even feel sinful in your hands and to your auditory receptors as you put it on. The leather chrome finish is fantastic and the closed-back design means better noise cancellation.

We really want one of these, plainly because Sennheiser is known for its superb headphones, and these new cans too mean business

Sony HDR-AS15

If you got it, wear it!

Sony HDR-AS15

Sony HDR-AS15

The smashing new weather-proof HDR-AS15 can shoot videos in Full HD (1080p) glory. It can even capture panoramas at an eye-to-eye-stretching 170 degrees. It comes with a waterproof case that lets you plunge it down-water all the way up to 60 meters. Finally, it is the built-in Wi-Fi support that makes this one heck of a cam.

Sony has injected smart tech by means of a 3-way shake- cancelling. This improves electronic roll stability for super smooth HD videos

Sony 4K TV

4K, go!

Sony 4K TV

Sony 4K TV

Well, if you do happen to have roughly about $1 Lacs to spare, you could buy this 4K television, capable of a resolution of 3840x2160 pixels - that’s twice as much as a Full HD. This Sony should do well with Sonics too, thanks to a 10 speaker setup. The set should be out this month and hopefully we will soon see 4K movies hitting the shelves too.

Sony’s SimulView lets PS3 gamers enjoy dual-player games in full-screen mode. 3D glasses let each player see a different image – so no more split screen!

Yamaha YSP-4300

Sound bar par excellence?

Yamaha YSP-4300

Yamaha YSP-4300

Now the Japanese brains behind this marvel promise true and not virtual 7.1-channel surround sound via the 22-array speakers and two built-in woofers – we’ll know only once we hear it for ourselves. What we do like is the fact that it also supports Dolby True HD and comes built-in with 10 different listening modes. Fire up the Blu-rays!

The YSP-4300 offers wireless playback via Yamaha’s yAired tech, which we love because it beams uncompressed linear PCM signals

Samsung Galaxy Note 2

If a phone could kill!

Samsung Galaxy Note 2

Samsung Galaxy Note 2

We would buy the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 for more than a few reasons, the most important being if someone tried to mug us, we could knock the person out with this device. Look at the size of it, for God’s sake! Jokes apart, it is quite a deal to pack in a 5.5in super-crisp screen on the outside along with a 1.6GHz quad-core processor on the inside. We look forward to testing this beast.

The new stylus on the Galaxy Note 2 is now thicker and a much better design, plus the rubberized tip now mirrors the feel of writing on paper. Perfect
