All New Storage Options from Western Digital (Part 2)
The Caviar Green series is designed to save energy, so it only has a spinning speed of 5400rpm, compared to the normal desktop disc's 7200rpm. Western Digital has made some caching algorithms designed to eliminate the decrease in performance resulting from the slow spinning speed.
All New Storage Options from Western Digital (Part 1)
Western Digital Caviar Black hard disc series is supported by a five-year warranty, which gives you peace of mind if you are looking for a disc for storing important data; however, you will need to remember to back up all important data, because warranty does not recover lost files in case of failure.
Gigabyte F2A85X-UP4 - Excellent AMD Trinity Motherboard
Gigabyte GA-F2A85X-UP4 supports the latest “Trinity” chip of AMD, such as Best Buy-winning A10-5800K. F2A85X-UP4 use high-grade A85X chipset, so you will have 7 SATA3 connectors and no SATA2. You will no longer need to compromise or swap SATA cables to have the best speed for any new devices you’d like to use; just need to plug the newest SSD in. It also has many ports on the top and back panels.
Hitachi Ultrastar A7K2000 1TB and Hitachi Deskstar 7K4000 4TB
When you are paying for a 1TB hard drive, you should want the best. Unfortunately, Hitachi’s Ultrastar A7K2000 does not have a good starting point, since it uses the old SATA2 interface instead of a modern SATA3.
Intel Core i3-3220 3.3GHZ - Good Basic CPU For General Desktop
Intel’s Core i3 processors line always offers decent performance and good value. The latest Core i3 that comes to our labs, the third-generation Core i3-3220, appears to follow in that tradition. It’s a dual-core Ivy Bridge CPU that runs at a maximum clock speed of 3.3GHz and has 3MB of Intel Smart Cache.
Seagate External Hard Drive for Desktops
Seagate’s 1TB Barracuda is one of the most used hard discs that we often see in OEM PCs. There are proper reasons for this: it’s cheap and its specification is updated, with a SATA3 controller and a spinning speed of 7,200rpm.
HighPoint RocketCache 3240x8 Review
It’s tough to wrap your head around HighPoint’s RocketCache, so we’ll try to sum it up as being simply crazy performance, if you’re willing to deal with the configuration hassles.
Cooler Master Seidon 120M - Won’t Break The Bank Or Any Records
With the vast majority of closed-loop water-cooling kits based on either Asetek or CoolIt designs, Cooler Master’s in-house-designed Seidon 120M easily stands out from the crowd. At just $70, it’s one of the more affordable kits we’ve seen, too, and though it’s not the answer to our cooling prayers, it proves you don’t need to spend a lot of money to get a decent water cooler.
Corsair - H80i and H100i: Redefine High-End CPU Cooling
The build quality is superb, with a solid baseplate block, and the new rubber tubing is sturdy but equally flexible. The fans have also been upgraded, and the pair of black and grey fans you’ll find in each box are now based on Corsair’s new, quieter SP – 120 models.
Low Profile Coolers for Cases with Limited Height
With its Freezer i30 cooler currently occupying our Elite, we were keen to see if any of Arctic’s other new CPU coolers were just as great. At just $24, the Freezer 11LP is certainly exceptionally cheap. In fact, it’s half the price of Noctua’s NH-L9i, which is also in this month’s round-up.
Gigabyte GA-Z77N-WiFi – A Motherboard With Plentiful Technological Features
Ga-Z77N-WiFi is Mini-ITX motherboard that has plentiful technological features. It is socket LGA1155 motherboard, so it works with both Sandy Bridge processor and Ivy Bridge processor. But you are buying updated Z77 Express chipset, actually you should buy one of the newest chips of Intel.
AMD A10-5800K - The First Chip In Processor Of New Trinity PC

Asus F2A55-M - A Good-Value FM2 Board
This MicroATX motherboard uses new FM2 socket and AMD A55 chipset in low level. And of course, comparing with A75 and A85X that is more high-ranking, it has some disadvantages. The main thing is that it lacks support for USB3 or SATA3. Asus overcame disadvantage of USB3 with AS Media controller in the third position.
Long Live The Socket
There has been a lot of talk in recent times about Intel moving away from the socketed CPU model that underpins most desktop computing. While this has since been denied, and we have it on good authority that socketed CPUs are here to stay for the next four or five years at least, it does give an insight into the changing nature of PC design.
Buying Guide: High-end CPUs (Part 3) - Intel Core I7-3770K, Intel Core i7-3930K, Intel Core i7-3970X
The fastest desktop CPU available right now is this: the Core i7 3970X. Released mere weeks ago, it's an update to the similarly-speedy Core i7 3960X, which has otherwise staved off all competition for the best part of 12 months. The 3970X is faster, though, but not by a huge amount.
Buying Guide: High-end CPUs (Part 2) - AMD FX-8150, Intel Core i7-2700K, AMD FX-8350
The fastest Sandy Bridge CPU is still competitive, with specs that rival its older Ivy Bridge sibling, the Core i7 3770K. But before you even start, there's one obvious problem: it's the same price as the newer, more efficient processor. How can it compete with that?
Buying Guide: High-end CPUs (Part 1) : Intel Core i5-2550K, Intel Core i5-3570K
Intended as the top-end Core i5 in the Ivy Bridge generation of chips, the i5 3750K is the official replacement of the gamer's choice CPU, the i5 2500K. This factor alone means it instantly had an awful lot to live up to.
XFX Pro 750w XXX Edition Bronze PSU Modular
In fact, the whole design of this PSU is focused on the generation of 12V, as both the +5V and +3.3V lines are created by two tiny DC-DC converters that hang off the +12V rail. If you're wondering how this all hangs together (and it does rather well), then the answer is a sophisticated power management chip, which directs a bank of MOSFET transistors to smooth out the wrinkles in demand.
Zotac GeForce GTX 660 Ti 2GB Amp! Extreme
Although Nvidia's GeForce GTX 660 Ti 2GB didn't hit the sub-$320 price that many were hoping for when it was released, it still put in a good showing and offered a respectable price and performance balance compared to the rest of the market.
Meet Intel’s Core i7-3820 (Part 3)
For our CPU showdown, the pretty much used the exact same hardware that we used in our Holiday 2011 CPU showdown. The AMD tests were run on an Asus Crosshair V Formula board, the Core i7-2600K on a Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3, and the LGA2011 part on an Asus P8X70 Deluxe.
Meet Intel’s Core i7-3820 (Part 2)
Ivy Bridge chips will be the first CPUs based on Intel’s new 22nm process using tri-gate transistors, which are literally limit and control the flow of electricity in a CPU are built in a two-dimensional fashion with the flow looking very much like a thin river with a gate laid across it to control the current.
Meet Intel’s Core i7-3820 (Part 1)
On the Intel of the aisle, you’re forced to pick between two different sockets – LGA1155 and LGA201 but at least both of them are young with plenty of life still ahead. The only problem with LGA2011 has been the lack of a budget chip, something to keep the socket from turning into an elitist club.
Club 3D Radeon HD 7990 6GB - Dual GPU Monster
Although rumours have been circulating for some time now about an official release of the AMD Radeon HD 7990 6GB, the card itself has yet to surface, and it now seems unlikely that it ever will. That hasn't stopped Club 3D from stepping up to the mark, however, and releasing it gigantic version featuring two fully powered Radeon HD 7970 3GB GPUs on a single PCB.
