Images don’t have noise at ISO 100, has a
little at ISO 200 and 400. The images become a little softer at ISO 800. At ISO
1600 there’s a small hole if you look at it in detail, but it becomes important
in ISO 3200.

Under the light of the studio we see that
automatic quite balance (AWB) works well, whether it’s fluorescent light or
incandescent light. Under the incandescent light, the pre-installed
incandescent mode also delivers good results, creating very identical images
compared to AWB. Pre-installed fluorescent creates images with magenta under
florescent light.

Nikon Coolpix S6500 is coming to the market
with the price of $285. Some other cameras with similar zoom are Fujifilm
FinePix T500 priced at $167.985, Olympus SH-21 at $174.39, Canon IXUS 500 HS coming
at $194.99, Olympus VR-370 $194.99, and Ricoh CX6 $296.99. None of these have
integrated Wi-Fi, the feature which makes the price higher. There’re lots of

Evaluating
If S6500 seduces you thanks to the 12x
optical zoom lens, there’s tons of camera having lower price with the same zoom
level. If Wi-Fi is the one you must have, S6500 is a good choice. There’s
always a premium you need to pay for the compact integrated Wi-Fi. It’s a basic
point helping you to transfer images from the camera to your iOS or Android phone/tablet
or use it as a remote control. The battery is rated for taking 150 images,
which is disappointing because you will use a reasonable amount of money for Wi-Fi
connection. Though having a pretty long lens, the camera is still able to put
in your pocket and not too heavy. Image quality is good, you can record videos
at 10 fps and panorama has well-bonded details.
